Total precipitation through Friday morning: Mainly dry conditions are expected through tonight with scattered showers possible in the northern third of the state Wednesday. We introduce enhanced shower and storm risks Wednesday night into the day Thursday, then shifting into IN late Thursday evening. A few of these storms may be strong to severe with damaging winds and hail. Rainfall amounts will be on the heavier side through the next 7 days with a general 0.5-1.5″ for most locations (localized >1.5″).
