3-28-19 Indiana Forecast: Multiple rounds of rain tonight through Saturday night…details here. N.

Indiana Video:

Good morning!  Here are the weather headlines:

A weakening line of showers will continue to gradually dissipate through the morning hours along I-70…many dry hours develop through the day the the risk of a few spotty showers developing across mainly the northern third of the state this afternoon and evening.  Many areas reach the 60s today!

More widespread and heavier rains arrive late this evening into early Friday, with the heaviest north of I-70.

Total rain through Friday morning:

We do catch some breaks in the rain during the morning hours Friday, then rain coverage increases as we head through the afternoon and evening.  Widespread rains Friday night, lasting all day Saturday for many locations.  This is when the heaviest rains fall.  Rains will completely exit the state by midnight Saturday night.  This could end with a touch of light snow showers especially east.

Total rain through Saturday night:  Heaviest axis of rains have continued to shift slightly south, however the latest forecast puts much of the state around 1.5″+ of rain.  Lower totals in far northern Indiana.  I do believe there will be pockets that get more than 2″, especially across central and southern Indiana.
