Good Tuesday morning everyone! Another very quiet start to the day across the region with some areas of freezing drizzle and dense fog especially across North Dakota. Dense Fog Advisories are in effect for freezing fog in Eastern ND and NW Minnesota: 

Freezing fog/drizzle issues likely continue to be a problem overnight tonight in Southern Minnesota and Northern ND into NW ND. More fog is possible Thursday morning as skies clear across the Dakotas and Western Minnesota: 

A front will move through overnight tonight and lead to some light snow showers/flurries mixing with light rain at times. Overall snow will very light with most areas seeing some flurries with a dusting to 0.5″ possible in the arrowhead of Minnesota: 

A few snow showers in the far NE counties in Minnesota could develop late Thursday evening but for the most part Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny across the region:

We’ll need to watch a system Saturday into early next week which could drop rain across southern portions of the area. Data still varies quite a bit on the northward extent and intensity of the precipitation, but given the incoming high pressure early next week, we favor the European solution as of now.
