Good Sunday evening! We’re seeing snow push into the area dropping light snowfall in Northern ND into Northern Minnesota. A second wave is working into South Dakota and could lead to some light freezing rain in E. SD and W. MN. These will merge overnight and lead to a band of heavy snowfall, strong winds and dropping temperatures late tonight and tomorrow. 

Snow showers could linger in the southern half of Minnesota into the New Year, but New Year’s day should clear out. 

Very strong wind gusts will lead to low visibility as snow falls. Temperatures could drop into the -20s in northern areas Tuesday morning with wind chills tomorrow morning in the -30s close to -40:
