A strong line of showers and storms is pushing through Central Indiana as we speak with some lightning strikes within the line. Additional heavy rainfall is likely to spread across the state as we work throughout the mourning and afternoon.

We need to keep a close eye on far NW parts of Indiana for some light snowfall accumulation late this evening on the backside of this storm system. However, there remains a lot of risk with this. Backside snows often can fail to materialize and there is certainly a big risk on the lower side especially given NW Indiana is in the warm sector for the majority of this event. Snow likely only falls for a couple of Horus around ~9PM this evening and most areas will receive and inch or less.
