Good morning everyone. We have some light snow showers working into west central Minnesota near Wheaton and Appleton. This snow is very light and the heaviest should stay southwest in SD. We will see some snow develop in SE Minnesota this evening in Houston, Fillmore and Winona counties with light accumulations possible.

Here’s a look at the simulated radar now through 3AM tonight:

Additional snowfall accumulation through 3AM tonight:

Another wave of snow is likely to develop for our SE counties from mid-day tomorrow through about midnight tomorrow night. The heaviest snow once again will be limited to our SW counties but chances are increasing for accumulating snowfall.

Accumulations of 4-7″ are certainly possible in Houston, Winona and Fillmore with isolated higher totals not off the table.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out, have a great Friday.
