Today’s Video:

Good Friday morning everyone! Rain is working out of Minnesota this morning, with just some isolated showers lingering in the Northern Plains. However, as we work into the afternoon, we’ll see shower and storm activity pick up along a boundary through SE South Dakota and Minnesota. Storms will also fire late this evening into tonight in SW South Dakota which could produce isolated strong to severe storms with hail/wind threats.

Additional pieces of energy will produce more rain late tomorrow into Monday with severe risks along the boundary due to high moisture, instability and wind energy. Isolated storms containing hail and strong wind gusts are possible:

All of this develops along a boundary that will lead to a strong thermal gradient across the area. Overnight lows in the upper 70s possible the next two nights in SE South Dakota and Southern Minnesota.
