11-19-19 Indiana: Discussing fog potential tonight + expected temperatures. N.

Good afternoon!  Light showers continue to work through the state, making for a raw afternoon.  This light moisture near the ground will set the stage for fog to develop overnight.  Data shows in general fog can develop by sunset and after, then becoming dense in multiple areas of central, western, and southern Indiana overnight through up to 10am ET Wednesday, then diminishing.  We have circled the areas where new data is showing this risk to be greatest. Temperatures for most of Indiana will be well above freezing, but in areas across extreme western/southwest Indiana, more cooling is likely here as skies try to clear, which can allow for isolated freezing fog on untreated surfaces, and possibly a spot or two in eastern Indiana, although data is not as excited about fog in these areas.  Any treatment here will eliminate the risk.  We’ll update if we see any changes to this.
