Flash flood watch for eastern Kansas into Thursday morning:

Quieter radar much of the day, with a few pesky showers southeast of I-35/335.  We’ll see scattered showers build along with isolated thunderstorms heading through the evening and overnight hours for southeast half of the state, increasing area-wide heading into Tuesday.  Tuesday afternoon and evening, areas southeast of I-35 need to look out for severe storms, especially Chanute, Coffeyville, and Fort Scott where an enhanced risk for all modes of severe are in place.  Timing looks to be mainly 2-8pm Tuesday.
