BAM Weather Announces Addition of Veteran Meteorologist Todd Klaassen

GREENWOOD, Ind. – BAM Weather is proud to announce award-winning meteorologist Todd Klaassen as the newest member of the BAM Weather team, bringing more than 25 years of forecasting, weather communication, and decision-support experience to the organization.

Klaassen has built a reputation for accuracy, reliability, and a warm, personable approach that has made him a trusted source for viewers throughout the Midwest.

Most recently, he served as Chief Meteorologist at WRTV in Indianapolis, where he spent 16 years forecasting Indiana's ever-changing weather. During his tenure, he held several roles, starting as the Weekend Meteorologist, then the Morning Meteorologist, and ultimately Chief Meteorologist.

Beyond television, Klaassen has extensive experience providing weather consultation and decision support for organizations and special events. He served as the on-site meteorologist for Indiana University football games and provided meteorological consultation for Indiana University. His expertise in weather risk assessment has helped event organizers, public safety officials, and business leaders make informed decisions when weather threatens operations.
