Rain and storms continue moving across zone 1 this morning under cloudy skies. There are a couple of thunderstorms around the Bloomington/Nashville, IN area at 9 am. Rain and storms will continue through the day. However, it does appear there will be a bit of a lull in activity after 12/1 pm.
However, that lull looks to be short-lived as more rain and storms fire up this afternoon. It does look like at least some sunshine will make it through this afternoon. If so, and instability is achieved, some strong to possibly severe storms can’t be ruled out with isolated damaging winds and an isolated tornado. Best chances for this would be in eastern Indiana and Ohio.
Rain and storm chances will remain possible on Wednesday across zone 1. However, these will be far more isolated with only a 20-30% chance across the area.
WED 5 PM
Isolated to scattered storm chances will remain through the week. However, by Friday into Saturday we will be watching a cold front that will dive in from the west/northwest. This will allow rain and storm chances to increase across the entire forecast area both Saturday and Sunday.
