The severe weather threat will remain across the northern Plains over the next couple days as an area of low pressure and associated warm and cold front move through the area. The main risks will be large hail and damaging winds. However, if cells remain discrete the tornado threat would be greater, especially tomorrow.

A tropical disturbance is still in place across the Gulf of Mexico. This is forecast to give some areas another 12″+ of rainfall before the end of the week! As the disturbance moves north and then northeast it will shift the heavy rain/flooding threat northward with it.
