A few rain and storms have developed across northeastern Indiana this morning. However, the main area of forcing remains to the northwest as of 10 am, and that is in the form of a cold front. This front will push to the southeast through the afternoon, as it does scattered rain and storms will develop ahead if it.
Rain chances will remain in the forecast through the evening, but will come to an end by early in the overnight as the front passes. Behind the front an area of high pressure will move in and will be in firm control of the weather over the weekend.
This high pressure will allow cooler, drier air to remain in place. Forecast highs over the weekend will be in the low to mid 80’s across zone 2.
