A mix of sun and clouds are in place this morning across zone 1. Through the day rain and storms will develop across zone 1. While rain/storms will be possible across all of zone 1, the better overall chances will be south of I-70 across southern Indiana and southwestern Ohio.
A cold front will move in from the northwest on Friday. Along and ahead of the front storms will increase and move across zone 1. It currently looks like storms will develop across north central Indiana after 1-2 PM Friday, then move southeast through the afternoon/evening.
While a couple of these storms could be on the gusty side, no organized severe weather is anticipated.
This weekend an area of high pressure will build into the forecast area once the cold front passes. This will allow cooler, drier air to spill into zone 1 making for a much more pleasant weekend.
