Mostly sunny skies are in place across zone 2 this morning with no precipitation in the area. While a few more clouds will likely make their way in this afternoon, there will still be plenty of sunshine. Mostly dry conditions will remain across the forecast zones today with only a few stray showers possible across northern Indiana and southern Michigan this evening.
The next best chance of rain will come in Friday afternoon and evening along a cold front. It looks like the best timing for rain will be after 1-2 pm across the forecast area Friday afternoon and into the evening.
As the cold front pushes south Friday night much cooler, drier air will surge into the forecast area. This will not only bring temperatures down for the weekend, but will allow dew points to fall as well. This will create a much more pleasant feel outside than the 65 °+ dew points that have been in place!
