Mostly sunny skies are in place across most of zone 1 with no rain in place this morning. While there is some rain across southern Illinois, it is quickly fading as it moves closer to southwestern Indiana. More isolated to scattered rain and storms will develop this afternoon and evening across zone 1, especially from I-70 south.
The next best chance for rain will come in Friday afternoon into early Saturday morning as a cold front moves across the forecast area. Right now models have decreased rain and storm chances along the front, so more scattered activity looks likely as the front moves through. Therefore, in the 7 day we have decrease precipitation chances for Friday into Saturday.
The front will push out of the forecast area early Saturday. This will allow temperatures and dew points to fall this weekend, making things much more comfortable outside.
