Severe weather wise nothing is going on today, but severe weather chances will increase across the northern US starting tomorrow. Severe storms will develop across the Dakotas Wednesday. While the main threats will be damaging winds and hail, some tornadoes will also be possible. If dew points of 70°+ can return into the region then the tornado threat would indeed be greater on Wednesday.
