Rain and storms continues moving across southern portions of Indiana this morning. This area of rain and storms will be the first of a few rounds of storms across southern Indiana today. The line out across Illinois will move in around mid-day brining heavy rains, gusty winds, and lightning across portions of zone 1.
Through the afternoon some isolated to widely scattered rain and storms will be possible across zone 1. However, the better chance of storms will likely remain across southern Indiana. The latest HRRR model brings in a 3rd line of storms across southern Indiana after 4-5 PM this evening.
Tuesday does look to be a drier, less active day per the latest model data. However, storms will develop overnight in Illinois. These will slowly progress east through Tuesday morning. If these storms could hold together then rain/storm chances would increase late Tuesday morning into early Tuesday afternoon across western Indiana.
