A few showers will be possible this evening into the overnight. However, an area of high pressure will work in Wednesday drying us out.
Thursday evening into Friday we will be watching for a couple of chances at some clusters of storms. One coming Thursday evening with another possible Friday morning.
New rainfall totals will be pretty healthy under the clusters of storms. The 12km NAM model shows localized areas of 1-1.25″ where the heaviest part of the storm cluster occurs.
Later this week and into the weekend an upper-level ridge will pump up over the eastern U.S. This will spread the warmest air of the year in and temperatures will warm into the upper 80’s and 90’s! Heat Indexes Saturday and Sunday will be near or slightly over 100° across zone 6!
