Freezing fog/perhaps a mist developing tonight as visibility starts to drop. Right now data really doesn’t even see it but looking at real time observations we already see it developing esp in NE portions of the state as of the 10pm hour. If we look very closely some of the hi-res data in at 9pm tonight see some saturation at the lowest levels..always a gamble to forecast or mention freezing fog. With temps forecast to go below freezing esp from the city north I am concerned it could cause some issues.
Forecast low temps tonight via latest HRRR.
Visibility as of 10PM.
If we look at the latest RPM for an idea where the fog could be the biggest issue it would suggest just north of I70.
Heres the issue. We look to rise above 32 area wide quickly in the morning so the issue becomes can you get by without treating before temps warm well above freezing by mid morning. I will leave the decision to you but I would monitor conditions tonight esp NE of Indy. Let me know if you have any questions. M.
